What we collect

SwiftConvert does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data beyond what is described in this policy. We do not use tracking pixels or third-party analytics.

File processing

Files you upload are processed on our server in memory and immediately discarded after conversion. We do not store, log, or inspect your files. No copies are saved to disk beyond temporary processing buffers that are deleted the moment your download begins.

Image compression

Compression preview estimates are generated entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. The original file is only sent to the server when you click Compress.

Server logs

Our servers may log standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, timestamp, user agent) for operational purposes. These logs are rotated automatically and are not linked to any uploaded content.

Local storage

SwiftConvert uses your browser's localStorage to track daily usage counts (number of conversions and compressions). This data stays entirely on your device and is never sent to our servers. It resets automatically each day.

Advertising

SwiftConvert uses Google AdSense to display ads. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Cookies

SwiftConvert itself does not set cookies. However, Google AdSense may set cookies on your device to serve and measure ads. These are third-party cookies managed by Google. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

Third parties

Apart from Google AdSense as described above, SwiftConvert does not share any data with third parties, social media trackers, or data brokers.

We may update this policy. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
